SLI 2013 No. 28 Regulations as made This regulation amends the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Regulations 1987 to prescribe declared organisations within the meaning of section 7 of the Serious Crime Control Act (NT) as criminal organisations within the definition of section 5 of the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979.

1  After regulation 2AA

Insert:

2AB  Criminal organisation—prescribed provisions

Section 7 of the Serious Crime Control Act (NT) is prescribed for paragraph (b) of the definition of criminal organisation in subsection 5(1) of the Act.

Note:          Section 7 of the Serious Crime Control Act (NT) describes an organisation declared under section 15 of that Act.
